Regeneration is a third person and survival shooter game developed by Misterial Games. Inspired by games such as STALKER, Regeneration aims to improve on the survival horror genre that the game is based on, along with its new engine and story. It is a game that survival horror fans can anticipate.

In Regeneration, you are a scientist from the Samsara Technologies expedition who explores an abandoned post-Soviet complex that has been isolated from the outside world where you’ll have to survive while facing the demons that lurk within as you uncover the dark secrets that the complex is hiding. Will you survive?

Survival is key

Guns and blazing are not always the solution as players will have to use stealth and environmental manipulation game mechanics to cross through the perilous paths that they’ll have to take. With the crafting system using both scientific knowledge and makeshift tools, players will have to be careful in managing their inventory.

What's great about the game is that the horrors of the facility, as well as the monsters and dark secrets that the player will encounter directly affects the character's reality and intelligence, forcing the player to think if whether what they're seeing is an illusion and questioning their decisions that affects their gameplay.

With a complex but unique gameplay mechanics and premise, the game can bog down the player as inventory management might force them to micromanage everything which may affect their experience. On top of that, only the Xbox controller is supported by the game, so players who doesn't have one may be forced to buy one if they're more comfortable with a controller.
